How it works
A guide for Landlords
We follow a straight-forward, clear and transparent process.
The Artist's Window in central London
We partnered with a London landlord to install an Artist’s Society in a 4,000 sq ft unit for six months, saving the owner £46,500.
The artists sold over 20 paintings without gallery fees, and the unit was later leased long-term. We then connected the society with another property owner nearby, enabling further savings while supporting the arts. This showcases how we enhance the high street, local communities, and property owners alike.

Collaboration with Made in H&F
The Giving Space, a shopping centre investor and H&F Council came together to create an arts and crafts based shop selling locally produced artisan products such as candles, scarfs, clothes, paintings, ceramics etc made by local people.
It is in a high footfall location close to a tub station and the 25 different sellers are delighted to be selling their products 6 days a week to the public, an opportunity they would not have had, whilst creating a buzz in what would have been a dark, empty shop.

It’s brilliant to be working with Hammersmith & Fulham Council, the Broadway Centre and The Artist’s Window to bring our Made in H&F Pop-up store to life for another quarter. The shop continues to be a great addition to Hammersmith’s retail offering and a fantastic example of collaborative placemaking. It also offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase the many talented local makers in our borough.

ArtCan in Islington
The Giving Space, a shopping centre investor and ArtCan collaborated to occupy an empty space and create a suberb gallery and the exhibition Moving into Stillness.
ArtCan’s exhibition occupies the upper floor of Angel Central in a former Italian restaurant, featuring work by 50 artists across a range of media. Supported by The Giving Space, this project is part of ArtCan’s first Islington residency. It exemplifies how vacant commercial properties can be reimagined as creative, community-driven spaces—bringing culture, visibility, and social impact to the high street through smart partnerships between landlords and non-profits.

The Society of Fulham Artists and Potters has been at the heart of Fulham’s art scene since 1952, and this marks an exciting new chapter in their history. We’re honoured to help bring their creativity to a wider audience and invite you to join us in celebrating this milestone.
